Work Package 4 (WP4) focused on increasing the capacity of Community Health Workers (CHWs) in participating organizations to promote and conduct community-led and community-based interventions targeting individuals facing intersectional vulnerabilities. The objective was to enhance the effectiveness of prevention, testing, and linkage to care efforts for HIV/AIDS, TB, and STIs among these populations. WP4 aimed to identify areas where the HIV response is not effectively reaching its intended targets and understand the reasons behind these gaps. During the second part of the Results and Learning workshop (online), participants discussed recommendations for three different areas: Linkage to care, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy.
The following document provides short definitions of each topic that are used within the CORE project. Recommendations are listed subsequently.
